Thor Sigurjonsson

Thor Sigurjonsson (also Þórir Snær Sigurjónsson ; born 1973 in Iceland ) is an Icelandic film producer .

Thor Sigurjonsson grew up in Los Angeles and studied literature at the University of Iceland . In 1995 he co-founded Fr. Malmquist Zik Zak Filmworks with Skuli . Since the turn of the millennium he has been involved as a producer on more than 30 film projects. He lives in Copenhagen and Reykjavík .

Oscar nomination

Together with Rúnar Rúnarsson , Thor was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Short Film (Live Action) at the 2006 Academy Awards for the film Síðasti bærinn .
