Thorn Kring

Thorn Ingo Kring (born August 19, 1973 in Siegen ) is a German economist and university professor .

Life

Kring studied economics at the University of Siegen from 1994 to 1997 and at the same time political science , law and psychology at the University of Hagen . From 1997 to 1999 he completed his studies in business administration at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster with a degree in business administration . Kring also received his doctorate from 1999 to 2004 at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster on the subject of “The Balanced Scorecard as a Management System for Banks”. In 2007 he received a junior professorship for future management in finance at the Steinbeis University in Berlin . After successfully completing the junior professorship, Kring took over the chair for finance , especially bank management, at the Steinbeis University in Berlin in 2013 . At the same time he heads the Institute for Ethics, Leadership and Personnel Management at the Steinbeis University Berlin and is the academic director of the zeb.business school at the Steinbeis University Berlin.
