Thorsten Ott (born June 18, 1973 ) is a former German soccer player .

Player career

Emerging from the A-youth of Kickers Offenbach , Ott received a licensed player contract with FC Bayern Munich in 1991 , for whose second team he was active until 1994. For this he was also used in two games for the DFB Cup (in the 1st and 2nd round 1993/94 ). In the 1991/92 season he was part of the professional squad . His only Bundesliga game he played on August 28, 1991 (6th matchday) in the 0-2 defeat in the home game against VfL Bochum , when he came on for Michael Sternkopf in the 75th minute . He is currently one of 30 "one-time players" at FC Bayern Munich.

In 1994 he moved to Seligenstadt to the local sports association in 1912 in the Offenbach district and in 1996 to the Hessian league club SV Wehen 1926, with whom he completed another one after a season and promotion to the Regionalliga Süd . With 13th place the club held the class, but not Ott.

In the football department of the Sportgemeinschaft 1945 eV Dietzenbach , Ott ended his active football career in 2003 after five seasons.

Coaching career

After his active career, he worked as a trainer in the junior division of TuS 1880 eV Froschhausen .
