The Three Sisters ( English for three sisters ) are a mountain group of three mountains on the Alexander I Island west of the Antarctic Peninsula . They rise about 13 km south-southwest of Fossil Bluff at the western end of the Kuiper Scarp .
They were used by pilots of the British Antarctic Survey as a reference point for the approach to the runway at Fossil Bluff. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2005.
