Thymus guberlinensis is a plant type from the genus of thyme ( Thymus ) in the family of Labiatae .
description
Thymus guberlinensis is a small shrub , the stems of which grow ascending to arched, are lignified, long and creeping. There are no non-flower-bearing stems, the flower-bearing stems are up to 15 cm long and have short hairs all around. The leaves are usually 8 to 12 mm long and 2.5 to 3.5 mm wide. They are ovate-spatulate to elliptical, are almost blunt, stalked and sparsely dotted with glandular veins. The veining is clearly visible.
The inflorescences are dense heads. The bracts resemble the foliage leaves. The calyx is 3.5 to 4.5 mm long, the tube is bell-shaped, the upper teeth are not ciliate. The crown is pale purple.
Occurrence and locations
The species occurs from southeastern European Russia to western Siberia.
