Thyra yew

Thyra Eibe (born November 3, 1866 in Copenhagen , † January 1, 1955 there ) was a Danish mathematician. She is considered the first Danish female mathematician to graduate from university.

Eibe studied mathematics at the University of Copenhagen with a degree in 1895 and was a teacher at Hanna Adler's Faelleskole from 1899 to 1934 (later Sortedams grammar school ). She published a Danish translation of the Greco-Latin edition of the Elements of Euclid von Heiberg .

1910 she gave with Kirstine Meyer Adversaria of Ole Romans out.
