Tiberio Guarente (born November 1, 1985 in Pisa ) is an Italian football player .

Career

society

He learned to play football in the youth of Atalanta Bergamo . In 2003 he was accepted into the professional team of Atalanta Bergamo, but did not play a single game until the end of the season. In the summer of 2004 moved to Hellas Verona in the Serie B . With the Veronese he earned a regular place in the midfield. In Verona, Guarente played a total of 54 league games and scored his first goal as a professional. In 2007 he moved back to Atalanta Bergamo, where he had played all his youth. Already in the 2007/08 season he earned a regular place with the Lombards. In 27 league games, however, he remained without his own goal. In the following season he completed 33 Serie A games for Atalanta and scored two goals. Also in the 2009/10 season Tiberio Guarente was one of the regulars at Atalanta Bergamo.

In the summer of 2010, after the team's relegation from the top Italian division, he signed a five-year contract with the Spanish first division club Sevilla FC .

National team

Tiberio Guarente went through several youth national teams of Italy in his career. In 2003 he was used in a game for Italy's U-18s . He was also used several times for the U-19 and U-20 (three games each). At the Olympic Games in 2008 he was part of the Italian team. He came to three missions, the Italian team failed in the quarter-finals to Belgium.
