Tibor Nemeth
Tibor Nemeth (* 1961 in Brixlegg ) is an Austrian composer.
Nemeth studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna composition, piano pedagogy (IGP I & IGP II, graduated with honors and Magisterium), trombone and Harmonic basic research and music theory (PhD) at the Academy of Music, Bratislava (Dr. art. ).
Since 1992 he has been teaching composition, composition and piano at the Joseph Haydn Conservatory in Eisenstadt. He is also head of the music theory and solo singing department.
In 2001 he was awarded the Theodor Körner Prize and in 2010 the Jenő Takács Composition Prize.
