Gheorghe Răşinaru (born February 10, 1915 in Szászsebes , Austria-Hungary (today Sebeş , Alba district ); † 1994 ) was a Romanian football player . He played 106 games in the highest Romanian football league, Divizia A , and took part in the 1938 World Cup.
Career
Răşinaru began playing football at România Cluj and moved in 1932 to local rivals CFR , who did not play in the national leagues at the time, but was one of the founding members of Divizia B in 1934. In 1935 Răşinaru moved to CFR Bucharest (later Rapid Bucharest ), one of the most successful clubs of the 1930s and 1940s. There he made his debut in the top Romanian league, Divizia A, on September 8, 1935 . Răşinaru was unable to win the Romanian championship with Rapid, but was runner-up four times and won the Romanian Cup six times in a row from 1937 to 1942 - a record unmatched to this day.
After the end of World War II to Răşinaru joined CFR Sibiu to that in the third-rate Divizia C played. After promotion at the end of the season, he moved to Șoimii Sibiu , where he ended his career in 1948.
National team
Răşinaru completed seven games for the Romanian national football team . He came to his first use on July 8, 1937 against Lithuania . A year later, national coach Alexandru Săvulescu called into the squad for the 1938 World Cup in France , where he was used in both games against Cuba , but could not prevent the end in the first round.
