Reception and style
Thomas Kernbichler, the publisher of the Austrian online magazine, wrote about the album: “The gripping guitar leads, the fine solos and even the bass runs of Sacred Gate naturally tell of Iron Maiden. The popping riff slaves, the chants and the subtle drama of some song structures, on the other hand, keep you thinking of American role models. Traditional US Metal, the filigree dynamics of NwoBhm and Teutonic models are the coats of arms that Sacred Gate carry on their shield into battle. "
