Tiébissou is a city in Ivory Coast . It is located near the capital Yamoussoukro in the Lacs administrative region .
According to the 2014 census, the city has 51,539 inhabitants.
Tiebissou lies between the areas controlled by Laurent Gbagbo and those controlled by Alassane Ouattara during the government crisis of 2010/2011 . She was hit by heavy artillery fire that lasted for hours on March 10, 2011.
