The underground bunker Dag-Hammarskjöld-Platz (or Dammtorpark I and II ) is an underground bunker consisting of two shelters in today's Gustav-Mahler-Park in Hamburg .

history

The systems were built as a replacement structure for the 3 tube protection structure Neuer Jungfernstieg / Lombardsbrücke and handed over to the Hamburg-Mitte district office in 1963 . The pipe protection works were on the Inner Alster , diagonally across from the Finland House .

Technical

The underground bunker offers protection for 104 or 48 people. There are 101 seats and 51 berths. The underground bunker is connected to the electricity and water supply as well as the sewage disposal . However, there is no emergency power supply and the systems do not have their own well . In the event of a defense , an intact infrastructure is therefore necessary.
