The Animal Health Act regulates the prevention and control of animal diseases . In this context, it also serves to maintain and promote the health of cattle and fish , insofar as the cattle or fish are used or are used for agricultural production. The Animal Health Act came into force on May 1, 2014 as a new version of the Animal Diseases Act .
