Tilda Apfelkern is a German cartoon series that has been produced since 2016. The story is based on the children's books of the same name by Andreas H. Schmachtl .

action

The "elderflower-white church mouse" Tilda Apfelkern lives in the Heckenrosenweg in a small village between the hills. According to the theme song, she lives in a small house under an elderberry , which in the film is on the grounds of a church a little outside the city . She eats, cooks, bakes, paints and enjoys doing handicrafts, meets regularly with her friends, for example for tea and cake or biscuits, and often spends time with them. They experience a little adventure in each episode.

Her very best friend is the apparently somewhat older hedgehog Rupert, who lives in the trunk of an oak tree in front of her house and is the only one of the characters in each episode to be dressed. He wears round glasses, a red scarf, yellow slippers and a dark green jacket with side pockets and patches on the elbows. Obviously also best friend is the "post mouse" Molly from the post office counter in the village shop, with whom she shares every news. Also always there are the robin Robin, whose nest is in a niche by the mailbox on the enclosure wall of the church property, the squirrel Edna Eichhorn with her sons Billy and Benny, who share the tree with Rupert and in the upper part of the trunk near the crown live, as well as Tilda's mute and mostly observant roommate Schnecki with the blue snail shell .

Other characters that only appear in individual episodes are the Frosch family , the sheep - namely the sheep Patrick - the duck Ida with her three chicks, the robin Rosalinde, Tilda's great-great aunt Emmelie and others.
