Tilia Herald

Tilia Herold (born September 14, 1948 in London ) is an Austrian - British television journalist .

Life

Tilia Herold grew up in England, where she appeared in Hindhead in the county of Surrey graduated from the primary schools. She then studied at St. Godric's College in London and obtained her diploma in 1966 . First she worked for the Heinemann publishing house . By marrying an Austrian, Herold came to the Alpine republic in the early 1970s, where she got a job at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Vienna . In 1979 she took a position at the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF), where she became head of Blue Danube Radio . Until the merger with FM4 in 1995, Herold was responsible for running the radio station.

From 1982 to 1990 and then in 1992, 1994 and 1995, Tilia Herold was the Austrian spokesperson at the Eurovision Song Contest , which awarded the points.

In March 2004 Tilia Herold was appointed ORF's first equal opportunities officer under the direction of Monika Lindner .

Tilia Herold is married and has one son.
