The Till Prize (or Eulenspiegel Prize) was the highlight of the festival for political- satirical cabaret that has been taking place in Bernburg (Saale) since 1999 .

It owes its name to the figure of Till Eulenspiegel who has been present almost everywhere in the city of Saale for centuries. The Bernburg castle located in the walls of his castle courtyard the largest Eulenspiegel monument , the Eulenspiegelturm .

The Till Prize is a replica of a 1.50 m tall sculpture standing on a 20 cm high base, depicting Till holding a sausage in his left hand, rushing away and turning a nose with his right hand. The figure carved from Rothenburg stone by the expert sculptor Paul Bölecke was created for the 1000th anniversary of the city of Bernburg in 1961.

Cabaret Prize of the City of Aschersleben

The cabaret festival has been taking place in the city of Aschersleben since 2005 . The city of Bernburg's Till Prize was replaced in 2005 by the City of Aschersleben's Cabaret Prize.
