Till Pape (born December 10, 1997 in Paderborn ) is a German basketball player who belongs to the squad of the second division VfL Kirchheim .

career

Pape began his basketball club career in the U6 youth team of the Paderborn Baskets . In 2011 he won the German championship in the U14 age group with the club and in 2012 in the U16 ( youth basketball league ). In the 2014/15 season, Pape made his first short appearances for the men's team of his home club in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA .

After graduating from high school, he moved to the Bundesliga club Ratiopharm ulm in 2015 , where he was initially employed in the youth team and with the Weißenhorn Youngstars , Ulm's youth development team in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB . In January 2017 he made his debut for Ulm in the basketball Bundesliga . He became ProB Champion 2017 with Weißenhorn and contributed to this success with an average of 7.3 points and 3.8 rebounds (in 28 missions). With the OrangeAcademy (name of the Weißenhorn team after renaming and moving to Ulm) he missed relegation in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA in the 2017/18 season. In the summer break of 2019 he moved to the second division VfL Kirchheim .

National team

Pape was part of the German U16 national team for the 2013 European Championship in Kiev and in 2015 he took part in the basketball variant “3 against 3” at the U18 World Cup in Hungary. In May 2017 he was appointed to the U20 national team.
