Tim Extra
Tim Extra (born March 13, 1986 in Norden (East Friesland) ) is a German chef.
Career
After training as a chef at the Hotel Regina Maris in Norddeich , he cooked there for three more years. In 2004 he moved to the Hotel Ellmau in Saalbach-Hinterglemm in Austria.
In 2006 he returned to the Hotel Regina Maris and became head chef in the Qulinaris restaurant , and in 2011 in the sea view restaurant . In 2012 he moved to the Waldorf Astoria Berlin , in 2013 to the Hotel Saratz in Pontresina , Switzerland.
Tim Extra has been head chef at the Apicius restaurant in Bad Zwischenahn since 2014 , which has since been awarded a Michelin star . Extra can use the hotel's own vegetable and orchard and a greenhouse.
