Tim Focke

Tim Focke (* 4. October 1979 in Wuppertal ) is a former water polo - national team and since 2016 first division coach .

Focke was a swimmer in his youth and started as a water polo player for Wasserfreunde Wuppertal up to the age of 18 . Today's qualified sports teacher joined the ASC Duisburg in 1998 , with whom he played in the German Water Polo League - runner-up in 2006/2007 - and through which he was part of the German national water polo team from 2004 to 2008 . In the meantime, SC Düsseldorf had signed him .

He earned merits as a trainer in Duisburg as a trainer of the II. And of junior teams. In November 2011 he returned to his parent club at the Bendahl in Wuppertal and took over the first men's team of the water lovers in the 2nd League West, which had been trained by a female duo. Since the 2013/2014 season, this competed under Focke in a starting community with the Solingen swimming club under the name SGW SC Solingen / Wasserfreunde Wuppertal in the same league. In 2016 he moved to the first division club SV Bayer Uerdingen 08 .
