Tim Henkel (born January 21, 1988 in Hanau ) is a German handball player .

Career

Henkel started with handball at TS Steinheim. From 2006 he played one season in the regional league at HSG Nieder-Roden , although he was actually still a youth player . In 2007 he went to the second division TSV Bayer Dormagen , with whom he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2008 . In 2009, the 1.80 meter right winger moved to the Bergisch HC in the second division. In 2011 he left the BHC and, after having been in the USA for six months for study reasons , after his return in January 2012, he rejoined the HSG Nieder-Roden, with whom he was promoted to the 3rd division in summer 2012 . For the 2013/14 season, Henkel moved to the second division TV Großwallstadt , which he left at the end of the season and returned to Nieder-Roden.
