Tim Maeyens (* 23. August 1981 in Bruges ) is a former Belgian rower who in 2004 and 2008 in the one reached the Olympic final.

In 1999 Maeyens won bronze at the Junior World Championships . In the adult class, he initially competed in double sculls , but then switched back to single. In 2004 he achieved his first podium finish with third place at the Rowing World Cup in Munich, and at the 2004 Olympic Games he finished sixth. In the next few years he reached places four (2005), five (2006) and seven (2007) at world championships, in the final of the 2008 Olympic regatta he just missed a medal in fourth. In 2009 Maeyens got two third places in the World Cup, at the World Cup he again finished fourth. In 2010 he initially competed in a quad scull and finished fourth in this boat class at the European Championship. For the World Championship he returned to the single, but only placed eleventh. In 2012 he qualified again for the Olympic Games and took twelfth place. At the end of his career, he finished fifth at the 2012 European Championships .

The 1.85 meter tall rower started for the Royal Rowing Association (Koninklijke Roeivereniging) in Bruges. In 2005 he made his diploma as bio-engineer.
