Tim Schraml (born March 18, 1993 in Göppingen ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Schraml began his career as a youth player in his native Swabia at 1. FC Donzdorf and later with the SC Geislingen , before finally in the youth division of the Bundesliga VfB Stuttgart moved. After he could only collect a little match practice there, he joined SV Göppingen , for which he played in the Württemberg Association League.

After a year and a half, he went to SC Freiburg, for whose second team he appeared from the 2012/13 season. He was able to assert himself as a regular player straight away and recommend himself for the professional team. In the following season, he was accepted into the club's Europa League squad and sat on the bench for a Bundesliga game for the first time in September 2013. In September Schraml signed a new contract with SC Freiburg, which turned into a professional contract from the 2014/15 season. On April 19, 2014 he was substituted on in the game against Borussia Mönchengladbach shortly before the end of the game and was thus able to celebrate his professional debut. As a result, Schraml came back exclusively for the second team. After struggling with persistent muscular problems in the 2014/15 season and - mostly as a team captain - only made 13 appearances, cartilage damage was diagnosed in mid-2015. Schraml did not play a single competitive game in the following two years and finally left the club in the summer of 2017.
