Tim "The Missile" Yeung (born November 27, 1978 in Rochester , New York ) is the drummer for Divine Heresy . In the 2004 competition for the fastest drummers in the world, he took second place in the double bass discipline .

Musical career

He graduated from the Hochstein School of Music in Rochester in 1995 . His breakthrough came in 1999 on the debut album "Conquering the Throne" by Hate Eternal . He left Hate Eternal in 2002 and worked temporarily as a season and live drummer with bands such as All That Remains , Vital Remains and Nile , then as a studio drummer on Decrepit Births album "... And Time Begins" . In 2010 he recorded their ninth album with Morbid Angel , as drummer Pete Sandoval is still in rehab after a back operation.

Tim Yeung got his nickname because he managed a beat frequency of 872 beats / minute in the 2004 “ World's Fastest Drummer ” competition on the Doublebass, making him 28th in the world rankings.
