Time Pilot is a computer arcade game from the Japanese game manufacturer Konami dating back to 1982 and developed by Yoshiki Okamoto .

Gameplay

The player takes on the role of a fighter pilot in a futuristic fighter plane, with which he tries to free other fighter pilots trapped in different ages. The player has to escape other enemy aircraft and shoot them down until he has to face the main ship at the end of each level. The controls of this game are particularly worth mentioning. Your own aircraft is always in the middle of the screen; when you turn it, only the background scrolls, creating the impression of constant movement.

Ports

Like many games from this time, Time Pilot was ported for game consoles and home computers . Among other things, the game for the Atari 2600 and the ColecoVision console was made in 1983. On the Commodore 64 there is a clone called "Space-Pilot" from 1984. It was later released for the PlayStation and the Game Boy Advance . Time Pilot was also released on the Xbox Live Arcade online platform for the Xbox 360 in 2006. There are also versions of the game for use on a mobile phone.
