Timo Bruns (born January 15, 1982 in Kiel ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

player

In 2002 Bruns moved from TuS Gaarden to the Holstein Kiel regional division . At Kiel he was a regular in the second team; in the first team he only had six missions. In 2007 he went to the association league team FT Eider Büdelsdorf , with whom he rose to the top division in 2008. In summer 2009 he returned to Holstein Kiel. Even now he was mainly used in the second team, but he also played four games in the third division . In 2010 he moved to the upper division FC Sylt . He left this after only a year and went to ETSV Weiche Flensburg . With the ETSV Weiche he rose to the regional league in 2012. In 2013 he moved to TSV Altenholz . For the 2016/17 season he then moved again to the Kiel district league for SVE Comet Kiel and ended his career there.

Trainer

As a coach, he was the assistant coach of the Oberliga team from Inter Türkspor Kiel from 2020 . At the end of February he was promoted to head coach, succeeding Özcan Atasoy .
