Timo Koelling

Timo Kölling (born January 16, 1978 in Bad Oeynhausen ) is a freelance writer, poet and philosopher.

Life

Timo Kölling grew up in Porta Westfalica and now lives in Frankfurt am Main . Between 1995 and 1999 he published the English-language black metal and dark wave magazine Moondance , and from 2000 to 2002 the “magazine for an invited readership” Renovatio Imperii , based on Stefan George's papers for art . In addition, Kölling wrote from 2006 to 2008 for the online journal Marburger Forum, published by Max-Otto Lorenzen . In addition to studying theology , philosophy and religious studies in Heidelberg , he worked as a freelance writer and founded the self-publisher Renovatio. With his writings and works on Julius Evola , Ernst Jünger , Stefan George and Corneliu Zelea Codreanu , as well as the release of an LP for the Sagittarius music project , he aroused the displeasure of Antifa West ( Bielefeld ), which prevented an event in 2003 and mentioned him in several publications. A reply was published on the website of the right-wing music project Megalith .

In 2006 Timo Kölling won the Literature Prize of the Uslar Literature and Art Circle . In the same year he published the first volume of a three-volume basic philosophical work under the title Tradition and Transcendence . As a result, in 2007 he received a working grant from the Leopold Ziegler Foundation. In this context, the work Leopold Ziegler appeared in 2009 . A key figure in the thinking of Ernst Jünger and Friedrich Georg Jünger at Königshausen & Neumann Verlag and, in 2016, an overall presentation of the work of Leopold Ziegler. Other works deal with Konrad Weiß and Ernst Jünger . 2016 Kolling gave a lecture in the New Right counted Library of conservatism .

In 2005 Timo Kölling also took part as a singer on the album Tiefenrausch (A descent in five steps) by the German ambient black metal band Trist .
