Timo Mauer (born May 26, 1997 in Schweinfurt ) is a German soccer player .

Career

After starting out as a youth at FC Carl Zeiss Jena , he moved to the youth department at RB Leipzig in summer 2015 . After the dissolution of the 2nd Leipzig team, he moved to SC Paderborn 07 in the summer of 2017 . After a few weeks in Paderborn, he was loaned to his youth club in Jena for the rest of the season. It was there that he made his first professional appearance when he came on as a substitute for Dominik Bock on the 5th matchday of the 3rd division in the 0: 4 away defeat against Sportfreunde Lotte in the 73rd minute of the game .

In 2018 he moved to Chemnitzer FC in the Regionalliga Nordost . There he was used in 26 competitive games. In the summer break of 2019 Mauer left the CFC, which had meanwhile been promoted to the 3rd division, and switched to ZFC Meuselwitz .
