Timo Pritzel

Timo Pritzel (born April 29, 1977 in Berlin ) is a German freerider .

Career

From 1994 to 1996 he lived with a host family in Las Vegas / USA. There he rode for a BMX team and won many races. Back in Germany he wanted to do BMX races, but at that time the racing scene was almost dead. In 1996, Pritzel took part in his first freestyle competition.

In 1998 he won the Dirt Jump World Championship in Portugal. In 1998 he also starred for seven months in the television series Good Times, Bad Times . Today he rides a 26 " mountain bike called Scott Voltage YZ0 for the Scott team . Timo Pritzel has appeared in several American mountain bike films such as:

In 1993 and 1994 he became German champion in the race (Expert and Cruiser / 24 inch) and reached eighth place at the Race Worldchampionschips in the Netherlands.

In 1998 and 2000 Pritzel became German dirt champion and set the world record in high jump with 5.10 meters. A year later he was German street champion and made the world record in the long jump over six cars. In 2000 he also achieved the world record in high jump on a mountain bike with 4.55 meters.
