Timo Matthias Volk (born October 12, 1993 ) is a German basketball player.

career

Volk played for Speyer and Völklingen in the first regional league and was signed in 2013 by the Weißenhorn Youngstars , the youth development team of the Bundesliga club Ratiopharm Ulm . For the Fuggerstadt team, he played in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB for two years .

In 2015 Volk von Weißenhorn went to the Ehingen / Urspring syndicate , with whom he won the ProB championship in spring 2016. For the 2016/17 season he made the leap to the 2nd Bundesliga ProA by joining ETB Essen , but had to accept relegation to the ProB with the team at the end of the 2016/17 season.

For the 2017/18 season he moved to FC Schalke 04 . With S04 he reached the semi-finals of the 2nd Bundesliga ProB in spring 2018, which in retrospect meant promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga ProA, as Master Elchingen did not apply for a license. Volk left Schalke after this success and joined the regional league team Hertener Löwen during the summer break of 2018 . From January 2019 he joined the Essen team DJK Adler Union Frintrop (2nd Regionalliga), in August 2019 he moved back to the 1st Regionalliga West and from then on wore the colors of Citybasket Recklinghausen .
