Tim Rose (actor)
Timothy Rose (born July 17, 1956 in Pittsfield , Illinois ) is an American actor , puppeteer and hobbyist.
Tim Rose learned acting in New York City . From 1977 he worked in the series Just Williams as Douglas . At the beginning of the 1980s he joined Jim Henson's company , where he made dolls that he moved himself. He worked briefly in the Muppet Show with and played the character SkekShod in The Dark Crystal . For Star Wars he was in The Return of the Jedi in the full body suit of Admiral Gial Ackbar and played the doll models Sy Snootles and Salacious Crumb .
In the series Wizards vs Aliens , he played the character King Nekross . In the Star Wars sequels The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi , he was back as Admiral Ackbar .
