Tina Richter-Vietor
Tina Richter-Vietor (* 1975 in Aachen ; † August 4, 2007 in Schenefeld near Hamburg ) was a German eventing rider . She had a fatal accident at the German eventing championships in 2007.
successes
The rider, who was only 32 when she died, was the reigning German team champion with Anna Junkmann , Franziska Roth and Sandra Auffarth for the Equestrian Federation Weser-Ems, twice third at the European Championships for Young Riders and in 2002 European Champion for Rural Riders.
accident
Richter-Vietor and her nine-year-old gelding Paulchen Panther got stuck on the second obstacle of the two-star test of the supporting program and fell so badly that she died as a result of the fall. The championships, which were also World Cup qualifications, were then canceled.
