The real moths (Tineidae) are a family of butterflies (Lepidoptera).

features

The adults are rather small to medium-sized and have narrow, fringed wings. Her proboscis is stunted. The caterpillars live in spine tubes, in which pupation also takes place. Some of them are significant pests of supplies and other materials in the human environment. The best known representative is the clothes moth ( Tineola bisselliella ).
