Tino Bianchi

Tino Bianchi (born June 21, 1905 in São Paulo , Brazil , † January 4, 1996 in Rome ) was an Italian actor .

Life

Bianchi was the son of actors and began his career in 1926 in Luigi Carini's ensemble, followed by engagements with Wanda Capodaglio / Corrado Racca / Egisto Olivieri and others, until Ruggero Ruggeri signed him, with whom he extensively toured. In 1935 he celebrated alongside Anna Magnani and Pina Renzi a great success in the comedy Casanova non sei più tardi ; this was followed by contracts with Mimo Benassi , with the ensemble “Spettacoli Gialli”, under Sem Benelli and finally with Evi Maltagliati / Benassi, Emma Gramatica and Renzo Ricci , where he played in 1950/1951. Outstanding stage performances with Bianchi in the leading role came about during these years under Giorgio Strehler and later, in 1958, under Luchino Visconti , for whom he interpreted Ketti Frings ' Look Homeward, Angel . He continued his theater activity until the 1970s :; numerous classics were in his repertoire. His performances were characterized by humility in front of the role while at the same time passionate about the characters, so Corriere della Sera .

In addition to his theatrical work, Bianchi also succeeded as a singer and dancer in the 1930s, worked for the radio and took on dubbing roles. His film career has been long, but does not include many titles in which he played supporting and character roles. His television career was also comparatively small.
