Tion Wayne (born September 1, 1993 in Edmonton , London , England , real name Dennis Junior Odunwo ) is a British rapper and DJ .

Life

His musical career began in 2010 after posting several videos on YouTube . In 2014 he released his first mixtape Wayne’s World . By 2016 he had built up a fan base and also made a name for himself as a supporter of Rick Ross and Sarkodie . In 2016 his second mixtape Wayne's World 2 was released . The first time in the British singles charts as he came Featuring the group NSG. The joint single Options reached number 7 in the UK charts in 2019 and was awarded platinum . In the same year he also released the mixtape T Wayne's World 3 , which reached number 62 on the British album charts. With the non-album single Keisha & Becky , which he released together with Russ , he again reached number 7 in the charts. This was also awarded platinum.

Other top ten singles were Houdini with KSI and Swarmz and I Dunno with Dutchavelli and Stormzy .

Private life

Tion Wayne was arrested in 2017 after engaging in a brawl outside a nightclub in Clifton, where he was previously DJing at a festival. He is said to have kicked a man on the head while he was lying on the ground. He was subsequently sentenced to 16 months in prison, of which he served eight.
