Tippett Studio
Tippett Studio is an American company specializing in visual effects , specifically computer-generated animation, for film and advertising. It was founded in 1984 by animation pioneer Phil Tippett in Berkeley ( California ).
Nominations and Awards
Employees of this company were nominated a total of six times for the Oscar and received it in the category Best Visual Effects in 1983 for The Return of the Jedi and in 1993 for Jurassic Park . The studio received two Emmy Awards , in 1985 for Dinosaur! and 1984 for Ewoks: The Battle for Endor, also here in the Best Visual Effects category.
