Tirzo Carpizo

Tirzo Carpizo Hernández (born March 15, 1966 in Coatzacoalcos , Veracruz ) is a retired Mexican football player in the position of goalkeeper .

career

Carpizo was under contract with CF Monterrey from 1987/88 to the summer of 1997 and achieved the only national cup victory in the club's history with the Rayados in the 1991/92 season and, a year later, the CONCACAF Cup Winners' Cup , which has since been re-established .

Although Carpizo was considered the "eternal substitute goalkeeper", he made a total of 125 appearances for his long-term club CF Monterrey.
