Titko Chernokolev

Titko Nikolow Tschernokolew ( Bulgarian Титко Черноколев ; born April 24, 1910 in Eski Jmaja , † August 19, 1965 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian politician and agronomist .

Life

Chernokolev joined the Bulgarian Communist Party in 1930 . From 1944 to 1949 he was a member of the central committee of his party. From 1949 to 1951 he was a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee. In 1950 and 1951 he held the post of Bulgarian Minister of Agriculture. From 1961 to 1965 he was President of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences. At the same time he was again a member of the Central Committee from 1962 to 1965.

In his scientific work he dealt with the organization, the economy and the payment of work in agriculture. Chernokolev was awarded the Order of Georgi Dimitrov as a Hero of the People's Republic of Bulgaria .
