The Tito Peak is a 600 m high mountain on the Scott Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Kirkwood Range of the Prince Albert Mountains, it rises at the southeast end of the Endeavor Massif .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1999 after Able Seaman Ramón Tito, crew member of the HMNZS Endeavor , the supply ship of the New Zealand group in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958), and the one who on January 20, 1958 had hoisted the flag of New Zealand at Scott Base .
