Titular diocese Legio

Legio ( Italian : Legione ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to an earlier bishopric in with the old town (later the Palestinian village Lajjun in Israel in 1948 by Israelis destroyed) in the Roman province of Syria Palestine or Palestine II . The diocese belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Scythopolis .
