Titular diocese of Limosano
The diocese Limosano ( ital. Diocesi di Limosano , lat. Dioecesis Limosanus , historically Dioecesis Musanensis ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a bishopric in the Italian municipality of Limosano , which was abolished in the 12th century. Only two bishops in the years 1110 (Gregory, Benedictine) and 1153 (Hugo) are documented. In February 2018, the former diocese was restored as the titular seat and awarded for the first time on May 3, 2020.
