Titular Diocese of Neocaesarea in Syria
Neocaesarea in Syria ( Italian : Neocesarea di Siria ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church . It goes back to an earlier bishopric in Neokaisareia in the Roman province of Syria Coele or in late antiquity Syria Euphratensis in Syria , on the western bank of the Euphrates , which was assigned to the ecclesiastical province of Hierapolis Bambyke .
