Titular Archdiocese of Oregon City

Oregon City is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

That in the United States located diocese was from the area of on July 24, 1846 Apostolic Vicariate Oregon built. When it became an archdiocese on July 29, 1850, it was 21,398 square miles. After it had given up areas for the establishment of further dioceses in 1868 and 1903, it was renamed the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon on September 26, 1928 .

Oregon City was added to the list of titular bishoprics in 1996.
