Titus Giger

Titus Giger (born February 4, 1932 in Murg , legal domicile in Quarten ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ).

Giger trained as a TS technician at the construction school in Unterentfelden and after the death of his father in 1970, together with his brother, took over his father's construction company in Murg .

In 1965 he was appointed to the council of fourths elected and sat from 1968 to 1984 in the Grand Council of the Canton of St. Gallen and presided this year in the Official 1982/83. On November 28, 1983, he was elected to the National Council and was there, among other things, in the transport, energy and economic commission, as well as the commission for public buildings. On December 3, 1995, he left the great chamber.

He held various board memberships at transport and power plant companies. From 1965 to 1997 he was president of the local community of Murg.
