Tiziana Rivale (* 13. August 1958 in Formia , Province of Latina , as Letizia Oliva ) is an Italian pop singer .

Career

Letizia Oliva began singing at the age of eleven and took part in smaller music competitions from a young age. After working in the rock band Rockollection , she went on a theater tour with Gino Bramieri . Her first single Addio Beatles was released in 1981 under the pseudonym Tiziana Ciao. In 1982 she applied for the Tre voci per Sanremo competition within the television program Domenica in , which she won with the song L'amore va . This gave her a starting place in the Sanremo Festival 1983 , where she presented the song Sarà quel che sarà , written by Roberto Ferri and Maurizio Fabrizio . Tiziana Rivale surprisingly won the festival with it.

After the festival success , Rivale took part in other music shows such as Azzurro , Festivalbar or Premiatissima and released further singles until their self-titled debut album was released by Warner in 1984 . The great success did not materialize, however. The album Contatto followed two years later, followed by the English-language concept album Destiny in 1988 . The singer then moved to Los Angeles for four years , where she recorded soundtracks and worked as a voice actress. Back in Italy, she released the next album in 1996, Con tutto l'amore che c'è . In 1998 the cover album Angelo biondo was released .

Between 1997 and 2003, Rivale was a regular guest in several television programs by Paolo Limiti and in several editions of Domenica in (with Limiti and Fabrizio Frizzi ). After further television appearances, the singer also released new music from 2008, mainly in English and stylistically located in the disco sector . In 2017 music was released again in Italian with the double album Ieri oggi domani .
