Festivalbar was a summer song competition that was held in Italy from 1964 to 2007 .

Conceived by producer and presenter Vittorio Salvetti, the most successful jukebox titles in Italy were initially presented in a radio show. From 1967, the station Rai 2 turned it into a television show lasting several hours. From 1975 the show took place in the Verona Arena . From 1983 onwards, the show went on tour through various cities in Italy. The winning song was determined by the highest radio / TV use and sales results and was not announced until the evening. From 1986 the most successful album was also awarded.
