Dove c'è musica is the seventh studio album by Eros Ramazzotti . It was released in Europe on May 13, 1996 and in North America on May 21, 1996 and is the first album the artist himself produced . In Germany it was platinum in 1996 , in the USA in 2000. It has sold around seven million times so far. In addition to the Italian version, a Spanish version was published under the title Donde Hay Musica .
Emergence
Before producing the album, Eros Ramazzotti had taken his commercial affairs into his own hands by starting his own management company called RadioRama . He also signed a record deal with Sony BMG for five more studio albums. Ramazzotti said he was very careful with the songwriting so that each song had its own theme and dynamic, and that there were therefore six potential singles on the album. Well-known studio musicians such as the bassist Nathan East , the drummer Vinnie Colaiuta , the guitarist Michael Landau , the percussionist Lenny Castro , the keyboardist David Garfield and the background singer Jim Gilstrap contributed to the recordings . The album was recorded at LCD Studio ( Inverigo , Italy ), Fonoprint Studio ( Bologna , Italy) and A&M Studios in Los Angeles , California .

Jose F. Celebs from Allmusic notes that Ramazzotti processed a wider variety of musical styles with the album. In Questo immenso show he hears influences from hip-hop and gospel , Yo sin tì is influenced by Latin and in L'aurora Ramazzotti sounds a little like Phil Collins . Promis sums up that the album represents a departure from the sound of the previous albums and a pleasure to listen to.
