Più bella cosa ([ ˌpju ˈbɛlla ˈkɔːza ]; Italian for more beautiful thing ) is a song by the Italian pop singer Eros Ramazzotti . It was released in advance in April 1996 as the first single from the studio album Dove c'è musica , which was released on May 13 of that year.

Emergence

The song was written by Eros Ramazzotti with Claudio Guidetti and Adelio Cogliati . The song is dedicated to the Swiss model Michelle Hunziker , who was Ramazotti's girlfriend at the time. The two have a daughter who was born a few months later on December 5, 1996. Ramazotti then released his song L'aurora in February 1997 , which is dedicated to her. He later married Hunziker in 1998, but the two divorced in 2002.

Music video

The music video was directed by Nigel Dick for Squeak Pictures with Hunziker. In the video, Ramazzotti plays the role of a car mechanic who brings her car to his workshop for repairs.

Spanish version

As with many other successful Ramazzotti releases, he released a parallel Spanish-language song for Spain and the Latin American markets called La cosa más bella . This version was released on the parallel Spanish language version of the album Dove c'è musica , entitled Donde hay música . It reached second place on the Hot Latin Songs chart in the United States .
