Tobias habenicht (born September 27, 1993 ) is an Austrian cross-country skier .

Career

Have not, who starts for the SU Klagenfurt-Kärnten , took part in U18 and U20 races in the Alpencup from 2008 to 2013 . At the European Youth Olympic Festival 2011 in Liberec he came in 36th place over 7.5 km freestyle, 32nd place over 10 km classic and 17th place in sprint. His best results at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2012 in Erzurum were 41st place in the sprint and 14th place in the relay. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2013 in Liberec, he finished 17th in the relay and 12th in the sprint. In December 2013, he started in St. Ulrich am Pillersee for the first time in the Alpencup and achieved 41st place in the sprint. At the beginning of 2015 he became Austrian champion over 10 km classic and ran at the U23 world championships in Almaty on 42nd place over 15 km freestyle, on 41th place in sprint and on 40th place in skiathlon . The following year he came at the U23 World Championships in Rasnov on the 61st place over 15 km classic, on the 49th place over 15 km freestyle and on the 36th place in the sprint. He made his debut in the World Cup in January 2018 in Dresden , which he finished in 54th place in the sprint. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 in Seefeld in Tirol , he finished 56th in the sprint. At the beginning of March 2019, he won the Balkan Cup in Ravna Gora over 10 km freestyle and 10 km classic his first victories in the cross-country skiing Continental Cup . In December 2019 he became Austrian sprint champion.
