Tobias Krull (* 1. May 1977 in Magdeburg ) is a German politician of the CDU and since 2016 deputy in the parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life

After completing secondary school in 1994, Krull completed a three-year training course as a data processing clerk at the Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg , where he then worked as a clerk until 2002. He had to interrupt his professional career in 1998 when he was doing his basic military service in the Bundeswehr in Oldenburg and Münster . In September 2002 he switched to the CDU council group in Magdeburg. Between 2007 and 2009 he completed a part-time training as an administrative specialist at the Study Institute for Municipal Administration in Saxony-Anhalt. He is currently managing director of the CDU / FDP / Bund for Magdeburg in the city council of the state capital.

Krull joined the CDU and the Junge Union in 1996 . From 2004 to 2010 he was district chairman of the JU Magdeburg and from 2006 to 2012 a member of the state board of the JU Saxony-Anhalt. In 2010 he was elected chairman of the CDU district association in Magdeburg. In addition, he has been state chairman of the CDU Saxony-Anhalt's local political association since 2014 .

Krull was a member of the Magdeburg City Council from 1999 to 2004. In the state elections in March 2016 , he was elected as a direct candidate for the CDU via state electoral district 11 (Magdeburg II) as a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt. He won the direct mandate with 26.9% of the first votes .

Tobias Krull is married and has two sons.
