Tobias Matthias Peterka

Tobias Matthias Peterka (born September 4, 1982 in Achern ) is a German politician of the Alternative for Germany (AfD).

Life

Peterka graduated from the University of Bayreuth with a degree in law , which he completed with the first state examination and as a business lawyer . In 2010 he started a doctoral procedure at the University of Bayreuth, which has not yet been completed. At the same time he worked in a law firm specializing in insolvency law and in the legal department of medium-sized companies. Peterka has been a public service employee since 2016.

Political party

Peterka has been a member of the AfD since 2013 and was a founding member of the AfD Bavaria . From 2013 to 2015 he was chairman of Junge Alternative Bayern. On September 24, 2017, Peterka was elected as a member of the 19th German Bundestag at number 11 on the AfD's Bavarian state list . He is the district chairman of the AfD in Upper Franconia and former district chairman in Bayreuth.

Activity and positions in the German Bundestag

Tobias Peterka is a full member of the Legal Committee and the European Law subcommittee of the German Bundestag . He is also deputy chairman of the European law subcommittee. He is also deputy chairman of the German-Korean parliamentary group and a member of the German-Israeli parliamentary group.

In the working group for electoral law reform of the AfD parliamentary group in the Bundestag , in addition to a reduction to 450 seats, he advocated the introduction of open list voting based on the Bavarian model as the parliamentary group's line.
